Top Korean Soloist Reveals Rich Family Background

Singer Park Ji Hyun surprised viewers after revealing that he came from a wealthy family during his childhood.

On the upcoming episode of Jun Hyun Moo Plan 3, Park Ji Hyun joins Jun Hyun Moo and KwakTube on a food trip to Samcheok, Gangwon Province. While enjoying seafood at a local market, the conversation eventually shifted toward Park Ji Hyun’s upbringing.

When KwakTube asked where he lives, Park Ji Hyun answered that he lives in Hwagok-dong, prompting Jun Hyun Moo to reveal they unexpectedly shared the same neighborhood connection. However, what especially caught attention was Park Ji Hyun’s confession about spending much of his childhood studying abroad in China. He then casually revealed his family was quite wealthy at the time.

According to Park Ji Hyun, his family operated a Korean restaurant in China and even spent heavily on newspaper advertisements.

“I studied in China for a long time when I was young. Back then, my family was well-off. We ran a Korean restaurant in China. We even placed newspaper ads and spent a lot of money.”

Fans reacted with surprise at the unexpected “golden spoon” revelation, especially given Park Ji Hyun’s more humble and down-to-earth image.
