In the latest episode of comedian Shin Dong Yup‘s YouTube show Zzanbro, Reply 1994 actor Jung Woo opened up about why his activities slowed down after the massive success of the tvN K-Drama.

Shin Dong Yup first brought up Reply 1994, recalling how popular Jung Woo was at the time—so much so that his wife even set him as her phone wallpaper. He then carefully asked, “You received so much love and were incredibly popular, so I was curious why things seemed to slow down a bit afterward.”

In response, Jung Woo went on to reveal shocking incidents that followed his rise to stardom.

I was incredibly grateful, but as I suddenly became famous, I gained a lot of sasaeng fans… Some people sent me envelopes filled with their own hair, and others wrote letters in blood.
