NCT’s Mark and Ten recently announced the termination of their exclusive contracts. However, there was a major difference between their announcements: Mark will be concluding his contract with SM and all NCT activities, while Ten will be ending his contract with SM Entertainment but still participating in NCT and WayV activities.
In a recent poll, fans were asked, “Should Mark Return To NCT?”. The replies were mixed. 2% of voters chose the response, “I think Mark should leave NCT and SM Entertainment and re-debut in a new group.” The option, “I think Mark should stay under SM Entertainment and not return to NCT.” also received 2% of the votes, but it ranked higher by three votes.
9% of voters think, “Mark should return to NCT and stay with SM Entertainment,” while 12% say they’re undecided. 28% of voters chose, “I think Mark should leave NCT and SM Entertainment to re-debut with a new agency as a soloist.”
The most popular opinion was, “I think Mark should return to NCT but leave SM Entertainment for a new agency.” This option received 48% of the votes.
