She looks like a new woman!
Singer BoA has become a hot topic after debuting a whole new look in her recent social media update.

On May 23 (KST), BoA posted a candid video on her Instagram account where she was seen joking around on set, teasing her staff members.

However, what drew the most attention was her blonde hair, styled in a short bobbed haircut. The singer was wearing a simple T-shirt with a short skirt that highlighted her slender physique.
Fans quickly noted that not only did BoA appear a lot more relaxed, but she also seemed to have put on a little weight, much to their delight. Some also felt that her new look was a modern take on the popular Japanese “gyaru” style.

- “With the little weight you’ve put on, you look so comfortable and full of warmth. It’s really lovely to see. I hope you stay healthy and active!”
- “Who is this insanely gorgeous Gyaru?! Unnie, you absolutely *have* to do a Gyaru makeup tutorial sometime. Wow, she is seriously so beautiful!”
- “I love the vibe! Unnie, thanks a lot! You’re such a mood booster fr.”
Meanwhile, BoA officially departed from SM Entertainment in December last year after her exclusive contract with the label expired, marking the end of their 25-year-long partnership. In March, she founded her own one-person agency, BAYPAL Entertainment, and is currently preparing to release her new digital single on May 30.
