He cited his own song as an example.
Epik High‘s Tablo recently talked about the strict censor system for songs in Korea, sparking heated discussions about whether it was too rigid for artistry to flourish.

The rapper recently talked about the topic during his candid podcast, Hey Tablo. He specifically mentioned one of Epik High’s own songs, “Ddu Ddu Ru,” which was censored for an unusual reason.
Tablo mentioned that the song contained a line sung by Mithra Jin, which said, “200 km pokju,” which essentially meant “Our youth is running at 200km per hour,” and since 200km per hour is over the allowed speed limit in Korea, the song had to be censored.

“I kid you not,” Tablo emphasized, adding that when songs get censored, the concerned authorities send artists a notification citing the reason. For the Epik High song, it officially stated that the speed limit issue was the reason.
A brief clip of Tablo talking about this issue has spread widely on social media, prompting international netizens to criticize the random moral weightage in the country’s legal system.
But let’s not condemn serious cases that get a maximum sentence of two years. Korea is a joke sometimes.

rapists walk freely in their society but a song will be censored if it even hints to disobeying a traffic law 😭

I still remember clearly how f(x) red light was banned from mubank because it had the word “caterpillar” and why you ask? Because it is a heavy manufacturing company name 😭
