It involves a “post-90s actor” and a famous “Mou Girl” (actresses who made their acting debuts and rose to fame by starring in works directed by Zhang Yimou). In the days leading up to the reveal, online users speculated about several prominent actresses associated with director Zhang Yimou, but the actual names reportedly surprised many observers.

According to videos shared widely on Chinese social media, the actor is Qin Jun Jie, while the actress is Zhou Xiao Fan. The rumors gained momentum after entertainment paparazzo Liu Dachui released footage that allegedly captured the pair spending time together in Beijing.

Chinese media reports state that Qin returned to the capital and later traveled to the residential complex where Zhou lives. The two were subsequently seen walking side by side, engaged in close conversation and displaying interactions that some viewers reportedly interpreted as affectionate.
