ATEEZ’s “Bad” New Song Labeled “Their Worst” Amid Myriad Of Issues

ATEEZ‘s recent comeback has drawn mixed reactions online.

On June 26, ATEEZ released their latest album, GOLDEN HOUR : Part.5, featuring the title track “Bad.” The album draws heavily on Latin music, including Reggaeton and more modern Latin hip-hop and trap music.

The music video currently has 6.5 million views, and fans have already discussed various aspects of the release.

For one, many have complaint with member Yeosang’s singing and screentime, which have been a point of concern for several comebacks. In the video, Yeosang has around 8 seconds of screentime, and its believed that his number of actual lines is actually even less time.

Another issue that fans have some complaints over are the lyrics.

“Bad” includes Spanish lyrics and feature a sexy vibe, singing about a woman.

Some Latin fans have expressed issues with the lyrics, saying that they were a bit disappointed with the generalizations of Latin cultures. Others also felt that rather than the lyrical content being “offensive,” they were disappointed by ATEEZ using Latin themes but not visiting Latin American.
