BTS member Suga reportedly participated in an early investment in SpaceX.
According to a report by Edaily on the 29th, Suga invested in SpaceX during its pre-listing stage through Link Asset Partners (Link Asset Management), the first domestic institution to invest in SpaceX.
An investment banking industry insider told the outlet that the exact investment amount is not confirmed but is understood that Suga still holds shares.
SpaceX’s valuation was approximately $46 billion in 2020. After securing large-scale investments, its valuation rose to about $100 billion by 2021.
On the 12th, SpaceX was listed on the New York Stock Exchange, recording a market capitalization of about $1.77 trillion based on an offering price of $135.
However, regarding this matter, HYBE stated, “We cannot confirm matters related to individual artists’ investments.”
