Popular TV Star Says Dancing Shirtless With Young Men Helps De-Stress

On July 5, 2026 (KST), TV star Hong Seok Cheon appeared on the YouTube show “Zzanbro” alongside actor Ji Jin Hee, where the two stars opened up about their careers, personal lives, and recent changes.

During the episode, Hong Seok Cheon shared that his drinking has increased lately before revealing his unexpected method of de-stressing. According to the TV star, he has been spending his free weekends at gay clubs in Itaewon.

Hong Seok Cheon then got candid about what exactly he does there. He explained that he dances with younger men in their 20s and sometimes even takes off his shirt while partying!

I started drinking more. I go to gay clubs in Itaewon. If I don’t have a schedule on the weekend, I go there to relieve stress. I dance at gay clubs with younger guys in their 20s. Since my body is in good shape, I sometimes take off my shirt.

He added, “These days, there’s a culture where people with nice bodies take their shirts off and have fun at clubs. I’m grateful just to watch.” Hong Seok Cheon also revealed that the younger clubgoers encourage him to join in because they know he has been working out! For Hong Seok Cheon, the experience is not just about partying. He said dancing and spending time in that atmosphere make him feel younger.

Since they know I’ve been exercising, they say, ‘Sunbae-nim, take it off.’ So when I take my shirt off, they go, ‘Hyung, what’s going on?’ and we have fun together. When I do that, I feel like I’m getting younger.
