Top K-Pop Idol Divulges The Reason She Never Has Dating Scandals

A top K-Pop idol has revealed her experience with dating, divulging the reason she never gets into scandals.

On July 16th, a video was uploaded on the YouTube channel oOo Blah Blah. One of the guests featured in the video is 2NE1‘s Sandara Park.

When an article about her only dating younger men was brought up, Sandara Park said, “I think it just happened that way,” adding that the charm of younger men includes “unexpected qualities, a cute side, and the way they protect like a man.”

When asked, “Don’t you see older men as men?” she responded, “It’s nice if an older man is a bit like an elementary school kid. My ideal type was Eun Jiwon oppa. It’s not that I only like younger men, I just haven’t dated older men.”

Regarding her mainly dating celebrities, Lee Yong Jin expressed surprise, saying, “I don’t think I’ve ever seen any scandals about you.” Sandara Park replied, “The reason there were no scandals is because I simply didn’t date.”

Under pressure with the question, “But you must have dated someone, right?” she confessed, “I haven’t done much proper face-to-face dating. I did non-face-to-face dating. We texted and stuff. But it can’t last more than a few months because the guy couldn’t handle it. Even when he came over, I wouldn’t go out.”

Lee Yong Jin asked, “From the guy’s perspective, could that really be called dating?” Sandara Park answered, “Back then, I thought, ‘Oh, I was dating,’ but looking back now, I realized it wasn’t. But we did do things like celebrate ‘Day 1’.”

When asked, “Did you ever not meet in person at all?” she laughed and said, “There may have been times… maybe we only saw each other from a distance.”
