J.Y. Park’s “Disgusting” Promo For Sexual Song Hit With Criticism

J.Y. Park is already facing controversy ahead of his upcoming release.

J.Y Park is still active in the music industry as a solo artist, and recently began teasing the release of a new single album. Titled “Wet,” it appears to lean into J.Y. Park’s sexy image, as shown in the teasers so far.

While this is usually met with mixed reactions, most, if grudgingly, are impressed that the star has remained in such good shape as he ages and continues to release music. However, one of his more recent promotions for the album has left many disgusted.

In a post on his X account, J.Y. Park shared a clip of himself working out as his daughter came over to play.

Near the end of the video, it is made clear that the song playing is likely his upcoming release and features the lyrics “Just call me J.Y. Papi.” The post also uses the phrase with the water droplet emoji along with the hashtag “Wet.”

Many online thought that it was inappropriate for his daughter to be included in the content for a release that will likely be sexual, based on teasers.

On the other hand, some have seen it as just promotion and a play on words and he is her father, the definition of “papi.”
