“The Return Of Superman” Mom Addresses Divorce Rumors

On the KBS 2TV variety show Fun-Staurant, a mom who gained recognition through The Return of Superman directly confronted the unexpectedly surfaced rumors about her “divorce.”

On the episode aired on July 30th, Shiho Yano cheerfully created a lively atmosphere by personally preparing a meal for Yoon Jung Jang.

While enjoying the meal, Shiho Yano cautiously opened up about the infamous “fake news” in the entertainment industry. She revealed that there were rumors about her divorce from her husband, Choo Sung Hoon. She added, “It’s a sensitive word, right?” sharing her bewildered feelings at the time.

Hearing this, Yoon Jung Jang deeply empathized, confessing, “There were lots of stories about me getting divorced. The rumors ‘they’re getting divorced’ never stopped.” In response, Shiho Yano jokingly asked, “Was that the plan?” to which Yoon Jung Jang waved her hands and exclaimed, “No,” turning the scene into laughter.

Pointing at the camera, Yoon Jung Jang encouraged, “Speak clearly and say it’s not a divorce.” In reply, Shiho Yano coolly clarified toward the camera, “We’re fine. We haven’t divorced! I have a husband,” bringing big laughs.

Shiho Yano and Choi Sung Hoon gained much love with their daughter Choo Sarang through The Return of Superman.
