With so many controversies surrounding this milestone occasion, BLACKPINK member Jisoo apologized to fans up front in a heartfelt letter. She posted a lengthy message on Weverse, telling fans that she would always be grateful for their contribution to the group’s success, and apologized that so many of them were left disappointed during such a milestone moment.

Hello, BLINK!

Before I knew it, time flew by and it’s already been 10 years since I debuted as part of BLACKPINK. I feel a deep sense of regret on this anniversary. Over the past decade, both as a member of BLACKPINK and as Jisoo, I’ve experienced so many things but I always wanted to show only my best self and be someone who brings happiness during difficult times. So, my heart feels heavy knowing that so many BLINKs are upset.

But I wanted to say that I never forget the fact that it is BLINK who makes BLACKPINK shine so brightly.

10 years! Thank you for the congratulations, and I once again apologize for causing you such deep disappointment.

I want to tell you that I am always grateful and that I love you all.
