Rising Actor Surprises With Two Vastly Different Things He Saved Money For

A rising actor revealed that he saved up the money he earned over the years for two vastly different things, surprising viewers.

On August 7th, a YouTube channel uploaded a video featuring U-KISS member-turned-actor Lee Jun Young.

The video showed Lee Jun Young having a talk with Lee Young Ji before entering the military. Facing his upcoming enlistment, Lee Jun Young said, “Lately, I’ve had a lot of time to zone out. I worked continuously for 5 or 6 years without rest. I had been really busy, but now it feels like time suddenly stopped.”

When Lee Young Ji asked, “You said you worked for nearly 5 years without rest. Did you earn a lot of money?” Lee Jun Young responded, “I didn’t waste it on frivolous things, I saved it and bought a house for my parents,” revealing his filial devotion and impressing the production team.

He added, “Besides buying my parents a house, I have a long-time hobby—I spent quite a bit on Pokémon cards,” surprising viewers. Lee Young Ji shared the same interest, saying, “I like Pokémon too. I also buy Pokémon cards.”

When asked if there was a reason he hadn’t dated much, Lee Jun Young answered, “My success was my number one priority. My family had a tough time, and I can’t forget the efforts my mom and dad made. When I was young, I wanted to pay off all the debts and become a hugely successful artist. That’s why I pursued music.”
