The younger brother of a popular Korean actress shared an update on his life as he pursues his acting dream while working delivery jobs.

On August 11th, a video was posted on social media with the caption, “Running again today…,” by Jeon Wook Min.

In the video, he honestly shared his thoughts about living as the younger brother of the famous actress Jeon So Min and his current circumstances.

First, Jeon Wook Min revealed that he naturally became interested in acting due to his sister’s influence. He said, “My sister is a famous actress. Thanks to her, I appeared on several broadcasts,” and added, “So I also dreamed of becoming an actor.”

Watching his sister’s career up close, he held the hope that he too could succeed as an actor. Reflecting on that time, Jeon said, “From the side, it felt somewhat close, like it was within reach. So honestly, I thought I would do well.”

However, he admitted that the reality of the entertainment industry was tougher than he expected. “The wall of reality was much higher and thicker than I imagined,” he confessed.

Now in his late 30s, Jeon Wook Min spoke openly about his current situation. “I’m 38 years old, almost 40. I don’t have a glamorous career or savings,” he shared.

He also drew clear boundaries against the assumption that, just because he is the family of a famous actress, he must be financially well-off. Jeon said, “People around me thought I had a lot of money because my sister is a celebrity. But that money has nothing to do with me. It’s all my sister’s money. It’s the money she earned,” emphasizing the distinction.

Currently, Jeon Wook Min is working delivery jobs to support himself while continuing to pursue the career he wants. Rather than giving up on acting, he is supporting his livelihood personally and waiting for opportunities.

He frankly expressed, “I do deliveries to be able to do what I want. Sometimes I feel ashamed. At this age, doing delivery work—it’s hard to talk about,” revealing the reality of struggling to build a life of his own behind the title of being a famous actress’s brother.

Still, Jeon Wook Min showed his determination not to give up his dream. He said, “People around me say it’s too late. ‘The moment you think it’s too late is truly too late.’ But there’s also the opposite saying: ‘The moment you think it’s too late is the fastest time to start.’ I believe the latter, so I keep running today.”
