Popular Reality Dating Show Star Allegedly Gets Caught On A Date With A Cheerleader

The dating rumors between a reality dating show cast member and a cheerleader resurfaced after they were allegedly spotted on a date in Jeju Island.

According to a report, Sung Baek Hyun from Transit Love 4 and Ahn Ji Hyeon were recently seen enjoying a date at a cafe in Aewol, Jeju Island.

The source reported that the two spent about an hour together at the cafe, and there were even photos capturing them holding hands. They took pictures of each other like any other couple.

This is not the first time dating rumors about Sung Baek Hyun and Ahn Ji Hyeon have emerged. Similar rumors arose back in February.

At that time, several photos believed to be Ahn Ji Hyeon’s KakaoTalk profile were spread online. The pictures included numerous shots appearing to be taken closely with Sung Baek Hyun, and reportedly contained phrases reminiscent of anniversaries or pet names between lovers.

Photos presumably showing the man and woman, believed to be Sung Baek Hyun and Ahn Ji Hyeon, entering an apartment complex arm-in-arm while covering their faces with masks and hats also circulated, fueling the rumors.

As the issue gained attention, a media outlet asked Ahn Ji Hyeon’s agency for a statement. The agency initially said, “We are confirming the facts with the artist,” then added, “This is a private matter concerning the artist’s personal life, so it is difficult to confirm. We ask for restraint in excessive speculation and overinterpretation from the outside.”

Sung Baek Hyun appeared on the TVING dating show Transit Love 4. He ultimately became a couple with Choi Yoon Nyeong, choosing her instead of reuniting with his ex-girlfriend Park Hyun Ji. However, the two did not develop a real romantic relationship.

Ahn Ji Hyeon has been active as a cheerleader since 2015 and earned the nickname “the second Park Ki Ryang” due to her outstanding looks. In 2024, she was also selected as the official cheerleader for Taiwan’s professional baseball team, the TSG Hawks, gaining fans’ love and being called a “goddess” there. Currently, she also cheers for the domestic baseball team SSG Landers and is active shuttling between Taiwan and Korea.
