An influencer known as A, with about 20,000 followers, posted a message on their social media account on the morning of August 19th accusing a rising actor of dating violence.
According to the content disclosed by A, they have sent a certified letter through a law firm. The claims include, “He threw a soju bottle at the accuser on the street,” “He violently hit and pushed my shoulder and grabbed my neck,” among other accusations.

A then posted a photo of Hong Min Gi, confirming that the person mentioned is him.

So far, these are one-sided allegations and the facts have not been verified.
Hong Min Gi, born in 2002, graduated from Hanlim Arts High School and is currently attending Seoul Institute of the Arts. He began his acting career in 2020, gaining recognition by playing the young version of Seok Ji Won, portrayed by Ju Ji Hoon, in tvN‘s Love Your Enemy.
Since then, he has built his filmography with appearances in TVING‘s Study Group, MBC‘s Crushology 101, Netflix‘s “Trigger,” KBS2‘s To My Beloved Thief, ENA‘s Doctor on the Edge, among others. He is currently drawing more attention as he has recently completed filming his next project, Study Group 2.
