Korean Idol Kicked Out Of Group 7 Months After Debut For Behavior

A Korean idol has been announced to have left his group.

On August 19, it was announced that FunXFun member Kandon was no longer a member. The notice cited “multiple serious rule violations” as the cause.

Notice Regarding Kandon’s Departure

We regret to announce that, due to multiple serious violations of our regulations by member Kandon, he will be leaving the group effective August 19, 2026.

The exact nature of these violations was not made known.

Kandon initially drew attention for his participation in the survival show Universe League under his real name Yeo Gangdong.

Kandon was eliminated from the show in episode 9, and was later revealed as founding member of FUNXFUN in November 2025. FUNXFUN officially debuted in December 2025.
