IVE Bashed For “Lazy” Dancing At Recent Performance, Sparks Heated Debate

Recently, an online community post about IVE‘s “lazy” dancing skills garnered much attention, with over 80,000 views.

The OP was frustrated at the lack of effort the girls were putting into the choreography.

Why are they performing so half-heartedly? There isn’t a single song where their choreography is on point, and they are all just going through the motions with no emotion. What is this? It’s even worse when you watch the full version. Although I am a fan, this is so genuinely disappointing.

I really wish they would all practice dancing a bit. I don’t even expect them to dance well, but since they are a group, they should at least match the choreography. It looks like they are all dancing different routines. Honestly, it looks like I’m watching a rehearsal of a group that’s reunited after years and trying to get the choreography right.

And while Wonyoung gets a lot of attention for dancing lazily, the other members are a problem, too.  I don’t know what they are doing. Stop trying to defend them by saying it’s because of the rain. Making mistakes has nothing to do with that. It’s just a lack of practice. And they dance half-heartedly just on average, but as a fan, I can’t help but sigh when I watch fancams from concerts or events.
