On August 24, NCT 127 held a press conference to commemorate the release of their 7th full-length album, BLINGY.
Previously, it was confirmed that all seven members renewed their contracts with SM Entertainment. Leader Taeyong stated, “It’s something to celebrate because it signifies that we are all moving forward with mutual trust and faith as NCT and NCT 127.”
Most recently, member Mark left all NCT units and SM Entertainment after 10 years. With this, Taeyong shared his honest thoughts.
“I imagined we would all be together for our 10 years. There was a lot of change within the team and among its members, and it was heartbreaking to go through those times. Nevertheless, the seven members remain to repay the memories and trust we have built over the past ten years.
Since Mark is a member who has walked this path with us for 10 years, I know how hard he has worked. I want to support him. But since our paths are different, I respect and support them.”
