A boy group idol has revealed what his life is like while taking care of his son.
In the 32nd episode of KBS 1TV variety show Let’s Live Together with Hwang Shin Hye, aired on August 26, Sungmin was invited to a village gratitude feast hosted by Hwang Shin Hye, Shin Gye Sook, and Yang Jung Ah.
That day, when Sungmin mentioned his child was 22 months old, Hwang Shin Hye asked, “How do you share parenting duties?”
Sungmin answered, “We actually don’t divide tasks. We just instinctively read the situation as it comes.” Yang Jung Ah praised, “That’s so nice. It’d be great if husbands take the initiative like that.”
Afterward, Sungmin showed Hwang Shin Hye a photo of his son, to which she responded, “He’s so cute. He’s growing so quickly. More amazing things will happen,” expressing admiration. Sungmin’s son has boasted perfect looks since birth.
Sungmin was born in January 1986 and debuted in the music industry in 2005 as a member of the boy group Super Junior. In 2014, he married musical actress Kim Sa Eun, who is one year older, becoming Super Junior’s first married member. They have a son, Do Yoon, born in 2024.
