Things got way out of hand.
On the recent broadcast of KBS’s Music Bank, the nominees for first place were NCT 127 and ALPHADRIVEONE.
However, during the broadcast, ALPHADRIVEONE’s voting team account posted a message that garnered much backlash online.

“Since we don’t know how strong the other team’s power is, we can only compare their last comeback Circle chart scores and this comeback’s music charts. We felt we could catch up, so we decided to proceed with the pre-voting.
However, after seeing that the other team received a huge score on the Circle Chart yesterday, we found it puzzling and contacted the Circle Chart about it. However, we did not receive a response from them, and even if we do, we think it would be hard for them to admit an error or reverse their position. (This is our personal opinion, so it’s possible to have a different view.”

As a result, they were bombarded with criticism from NCTzens, which ultimately led them to delete the post and apologize.
next time think carefully before spewing nonsense. your ego is so fucking high for a group who barely just debuted 🙄 pic.twitter.com/fsNGBLXlQu

However, the apology post garnered even more backlash, as they felt it wasn’t proper and continued to make underlying assumptions that the scores were an error.

I didn’t want to say anything more because it might sound like I’m just venting, but the way they wrote the apology is making me speak up again. They keep posting these so-called apology statements, but throughout them, there’s this underlying assumption that our scores are at fault. Can you really call this an apology?
What you did earlier was straight up disrespectful. Questioning 127’s fandom credibility even worse dismissing their scores as “errors” simply because you’re lacking is not cute at all. Careful what you wrote for and do better research

the problem isn’t simply that you mentioned another group publicly. the problem is that you publicly questioned their results and suggested there was an “error” without any basis. of course, that’s going to make people think you’re implying some kind of manipulation or foul play-

Things escalated even more, with even ALPHADRIVE fans speaking out about the situation.
wanted to make sure to say that international allyz don’t align ourselves with the korean fanbase & their mistakes. we have nothing but love for nct and nctzens. Still sincere apologies to every nctzen who feels hurt

this is a highly unprofessional issue coming from our korean fanbase. Please give your apologies to the correct fandom instead of being vague
