Active K-Pop Idol Divulges Her Love Story And Reason For Marrying Non-Celebrity Partner

A female K-Pop idol has talked about her love story, revealing how she met and why she married her non-celebrity partner.

On September 15th, a YouTube channel posted a video titled, “Why are the two so close? How did Ko So Young and T-ARA’s Hyomin become friends?”

In the video, Ko So Young expressed curiosity about T-ARA member Hyomin’s first meeting with her husband, saying, “Hyomin always seemed like a baby to me. I was surprised when I heard she was getting married.”

Hyomin recalled, “It was someone’s birthday. My husband arrived a bit late, and the seat next to me happened to be empty. He apologized for being late, and his voice was nice. I didn’t get a good look at him, but from what I saw, he seemed fine.”

She added, “We talked naturally. I was surprised that he was older—there’s a 10-year age difference.” She continued, “I didn’t really think about marriage at the time. But after I met him, the topic came up naturally. Around six months into dating, I wondered, ‘What should I do if marriage gets brought up?’ But then I didn’t want to let him go to someone else… so I decided to say yes.”
