Girls’ Generation’s Tiffany Gets Dragged Into Paraplegic YouTuber Park We’s Controversy

Girls’ Generation (also known as SNSD) member Tiffany Young‘s recent interaction with a visually impaired YouTuber has been compared to the interaction between the same YouTuber and Park We, who’s been embroiled in multiple controversies.

Earlier, online interest renewed in a video featuring Park We on visually impaired YouTuber Oneshot Hansol’s channel from November 2022.

Just as netizens have been condemning Park We’s behavior towards Oneshot Hansol, the visually impaired YouTuber posted photos and a message on his social media about Tiffany Young.

Oneshot Hansol said, “She immediately held out her elbow when we first met, showing she knew how to guide a visually impaired person, which surprised me.”

He added, “I asked Tiffany, who had known my face before I lost my sight, about my current appearance, and she said ‘You look even prettier.’ She empathized with the fact that the Braille on the drink can only says ‘drink,’ and the bus doesn’t give voice announcements, making it hard for visually impaired people to use it. She responded very pleasantly.”

Also, Oneshot Hansol expressed gratitude, saying, “She gave big reactions every time my dog Tory did a trick. She even sang for me directly and played her new song for the first time. It was a pleasure to be with her.”

Contrasting Tiffany Young’s considerate attitude, such as knowing how to guide visually impaired people and offering her elbow first, Park We’s past video contained remarks that seemed to ridicule visual impairment, drawing renewed attention to their opposing behaviors.
