ATEEZ Member Breaks Hearts With Painful Confession About Being Less Popular In The Group

Fourth-generation boy group ATEEZ‘s latest comeback has proven to be one of their most explosive ones to date, catapulting them into new heights of domestic popularity. So, when one of the members opened up about being practically untouched by this newfound success, fans were left heartbroken.

The member in question is Yeosang, the lead dancer, sub-vocalist, and visual of ATEEZ.

Recently, during a candid livestream, Yeosang received a question about his group’s recent rise in popularity. He responded with a heartbreaking answer, admitting that nothing had particularly changed for him. He explained that his days go about the same way even now, adding that even his parents were hoping that ATEEZ’s current popularity would bring him better opportunities as well.

💬: does the popularity feel real these days?
👑: well… i’m not sure. somehow… for me, i don’t think the popularity really has hit me that much yet. because, in a way, i just go to my schedules, do pop live with our yeodoongies whom i already know, and then i’m just at… pic.twitter.com/d5jq4PTUIL

This confession left fans enraged at KQ Entertainment, as they believe the agency’s mistreatment is keeping Yeosang from developing a prominent public image and securing individual opportunities that the other members are getting.

i don’t think i’ve ever seen an idol honestly admit they haven’t felt the effects of their group’s popularity because nothing has changed for them personally. he’s the only member to not get any opportunities to build a personal brand or even represent the group independently

It is so SO heartbreaking to see that even when ateez is having their biggest comeback and the most domestic popularity they have ever had, yeosang can’t even celebrate it. He can celebrate his members, he can celebrate his group, but what can he celebrate about himself?

i don’t know what else yeosang could possibly say to make you understand that he’s being mistreated and that he wants more. of course he doesn’t feel popular when he’s barely given any opportunities to go out and be seen. when fans show up for other members at different events…

he said i go to work, i go live with fans i already know and then go home. rinse, wash, repeat.

kq not curating or cultivating his career is fucking insane, especially with how they are with wanting to make money every three seconds. it makes ZERO sense on why they insist on…

it makes me feel siiickkk knowing he has no chance to see the fruits of his labour with his own group because he doesn’t even get to do solo/unit ateez based promos never mind anything to build his own brand
