…Nana’s appearance also became a talking point.

Some felt that Nana’s appearance was “too modern,” accusing the actress of having gotten lip filler.

Following the criticism, Nana shared her thoughts on a fan chatting platform. The idol-actress expressed regret over her lips, which she described as a “personal choice”, making others uncomfortable.

If my lips made people uncomfortable, then that was my fault. I think the personal choice I made was not an appropriate one for me as an actor. I think it must hurt the fans who love me to see the harsh criticism directed at me, and for that, I’m even more sorry. From now on, I’ll work to make sure that we can hear good things together.
