BLACKPINK Lisa‘s recent collaboration announcement has sparked a wave of backlash towards the idol.
Many celebrities have been criticized for promoting META glasses, including Jennie.
BLACKPINK’s Jennie Severely Criticized For Endorsing Product Dangerous For Women
Recently, it was announced that Lisa was collaborating with META glasses, with two pairs of designs and multiple charms inspired by Lisa’s pets.
Yet, as soon as the photos and information about the collaboration were spread, it sparked major backlash towards Lisa.
Some called out Lisa as a hypocrite, as she has hit back at her lack of privacy while promoting a product that has been known to be used for recording without her knowledge. Others hit back at the dangers of these glasses when it comes to women, as it is known to not only record them without permission but can also promote harassment and create dangerous situations.

Uhm…. Okay.. meta glasses could indeed invade someone’s privacy. It’s dangerous especially without regulations and shit.
But isn’t it kinda weird that you’re wishing Lisa to get stalked in return? 😅 Like, what are you trying to prove here? What happened to calling out? asdfg

Feminism takes a decade long step back every time a female celebrity promotes Meta glasses, knowing they can secretly record women without their awareness or consent, infringing on their privacy and enabling harassment and non consensual capture.
