WINNER member Song Mino is expected to resume his social service duty following the confirmation of a suspended prison sentence for violating military service laws. The Military Manpower Administration is reportedly reviewing formal procedures for his re-enlistment.
According to a report by Star News on October 16th, a Military Manpower Administration official stated, “After the first-instance verdict was finalized, the relevant department is reviewing the procedures for re-enlistment.”
Previously, the Military Manpower Administration had announced that once the verdict on Song Min Ho’s military service law violation was finalized, he would have to serve again for the number of days he was absent without permission. Song Mino’s unauthorized absence totaled 102 days.
On the 1st, Song Mino was sentenced to one year in prison with a two-year suspended sentence at the Seoul Western District Court for violating military service laws. He did not file an appeal within the seven-day appeal period, so the first-instance verdict was upheld.
