“Go back home girl…”
BLACKPINK’s Rosé made her debut at one of Hollywood’s biggest events this week, but fans were less than impressed with her look.

The singer appeared at the sixth annual Academy Museum Gala for the first time on October 17, taking to the Academy Museum of Motion Pictures in Los Angeles alongside major names including Taylor Swift and Sabrina Carpenter.

For the event, Rosé donned a sheer black gown from Saint Laurent by Anthony Vaccarello. The dress featured a see-through skirt layered over a revealing bodysuit, finished with an oversized bow, and she completed the look with jewelry from Tiffany & Co.

While footage of the look spread quickly, fans were anything but positive about Rosé’s styling, with many complaining about her ongoing pattern of “boring” outfit choices.

Critics argue that the BLACKPINK star has repeatedly defaulted to black at major events, wearing black dresses to dozens of red carpets over the year regardless of the occasion. Even her hairstyling, say fans, is uninteresting and repetitive.

Rosé recently began working with well-known celebrity stylist Law Roach, who is known for his dramatic creative range, but it appears that her minimalist look is here to stay.
