It’s just that one member is pushing back on a comeback.
After nearly seven years of inactivity, the status of Celeb Five has finally been addressed—and according to leader Kim Shin Young, the group is far from over.

Appearing on the variety show Problem Child in House, Kim Shin Young directly shut down speculation that the group had quietly disbanded following years without promotions. When asked whether Celeb Five had broken up, she responded firmly, “No.” When member Song Eun Yi jokingly added, “Wait, we didn’t disband?”, Kim Shin Young clarified that, as the team’s leader, she would know, and that no such decision had been made.

The question came after the group, which debuted in 2018, had remained inactive since its 2019 release, leading many to assume it had naturally disbanded. Kim Shin Young then joked that the hiatus was due to member Ahn Young Mi being close to giving birth.
She’s about to give birth, so… She’s the first girl group member(?) to be pregnant with a second child.
