Famous Girl Group Idol Becomes Second Member To Get Married

A famous K-Pop girl group member is getting married, about two years after her fellow member tied the knot.

According to an MHN Sports report on November 4th, a wedding ceremony will be held on the 22nd at an undisclosed location in Seoul by Jeon Jiyoon, originally from 4Minute, and her non-celebrity partner. The ceremony will be a private event attended only by close family and friends from both sides.

The groom is known to be an ordinary person not involved in the entertainment industry. Details about his identity, how the couple met, and the length of their relationship have not been disclosed.

With Jeon Jiyoon’s marriage, 4Minute has its second married member. The first member to marry was HyunA, who wed singer Yong Junhyung, formerly of the group Beast, on October 11, 2024. They met while both were under Cube Entertainment, and publicly revealed their relationship in January 2024 with a photo holding hands on social media. They became a married couple nine months after going public.

Jeon Jiyoon and HyunA debuted together as 4Minute in 2009, leading the golden era of second-generation girl groups. 4Minute gained great popularity with numerous hits like “Hot Issue,” “Muzik,” “Mirror Mirror,” “Volume Up,” “What’s Your Name?,” “Whatcha Doin’ Today,” and “Crazy.”
