A Korean star couple has overcome the pain of two miscarriages and succeeded in getting pregnant.
On the 4th, comedian Kim Seung Hye posted a video titled “Everyone, I’m pregnant” on her YouTube channel.
In the video, she said, “Hello, this is Kim Seung Hye. I turned on the camera today to share some good news. Everyone, I’m finally pregnant. So in this video, I’ve captured the process of preparing for pregnancy.”
She continued, “When we officially started trying to get pregnant, I got pregnant right away but then experienced back-to-back chemical miscarriages, which was quite hard for me. Reading the comments on the YouTube videos, many people said they have been praying for us, and it really encouraged me. I’m truly grateful.”
She added, “I think there are many people watching this video who are preparing for pregnancy, so I hope all of you receive my pregnancy energy and get pregnant too. I will pray for that.”
Later, the pregnancy process was revealed: after two chemical miscarriages, Kim Seung Hye was unable to conceive for several months. She then succeeded in getting pregnant through in vitro fertilization.
Kim Seung Hye said, “As soon as I saw two lines on the test, I called the hospital to ask what I should do, and they told me to come in immediately. At the hospital, I had blood tests and thyroid level tests, because thyroid levels can suddenly rise during pregnancy. It was day 9 after ovulation when I saw the two lines. I was happy but also scared.”
Although she expressed fear, her levels rose stably, and Kim Seung Hye came out about her pregnancy first to her husband and then to her family.
On the same day, Kim Seung Hye also shared the pregnancy news on social media. She said, “Our baby angel has finally arrived!” and added, “After 17 weeks full of worry and excitement, we are cautiously sharing the news. We’re new parents and still learning, but we will do our best and show you how we overcome this. Please cheer for our family a lot.”
