An actor’s management is addressing the latest rumors surrounding their talent’s love life.
Wang Ziqi is a Chinese actor who rose to international fame in the 2023 series The Love You Give Me. He is also well known for his roles in several other series, including Chase the Truth and Guess Who I Am, but now Wang is trending for an entirely different reason.
Paparazzi footage of Wang, allegedly filmed on April 27, shows him attending a gathering with friends. After the gathering, Wang was spotted talking to a mystery woman, and some reports claim the woman declined Wang’s multiple invitations to join him inside his Ferrari.
Chinese media also reported that the woman later met up with Wang at his private villa, stayed the night, and left the next morning.
However, Wang’s studio quickly and succinctly shut the rumors down with this statement:
A few friends were just playing billiards together; it was a normal gathering. Please stop interpreting images selectively and spreading false information.
