Actress Exposes Co-Star’s Aggressive Sexual Harassment On Set

An actress’s exposé of her married co-star’s horrific sexual harassment on set has shaken up online communities.

The actress in question is Heo Yi Jae, who quit the industry suddenly more than a decade ago despite being well on her way to A-list stardom. At the time she retired from acting, Heo didn’t clarify any reason behind her decision. However, she opened up about the ugly truth in a YouTube video a few years ago.

According to the actress, her last straw was the aggressive harassment she faced from her married co-star while working on a K-Drama. Heo recalled him constantly approaching her with inappropriate proposals, despite her consistent rejections.

During one particular interaction, she recalled that the married actor smugly suggested that they sleep together for the sake of their on-screen chemistry.

He said to me, ‘Do you know what people have been saying about our drama?’ So I said, ‘What are they saying?’ He responded, ‘They are saying that we don’t seem like a couple.’ He said to me, ‘Do you know what a male and female need to do in order to become closer as a couple?’ And that’s where he said, ‘They need to sleep together.’

The man proceeded to ask, “But you wouldn’t want to do that, right?” and Heo immediately answered, “Yes, I would hate that.” The actor then lashed out at her, throwing things and calling her a “f*cking b*tch.”

Though this exposé dates back to 2021, it recently resurfaced on online communities, leaving netizens shell-shocked. Many speculated about the male actor’s identity, while others were simply horrified, imagining the lengths actresses have to go to be successful.
