Actress Is Set To Marry Into A Family With Alleged Mother-In-Law Just 4 Years Older

Actress Cha Jung Won is set to marry actor Ha Jung Woo this December, drawing attention to the age difference between Cha and Ms. A, who is 39 years younger than Ha Jung Woo’s father, Kim Yong Gun, with whom Ms. A has a late-born son.

Ha Jung Woo, born in 1978, and Cha Jung Won, born in 1989, will overcome an 11-year age gap and tie the knot on December 13 at a hotel in Seoul after six years of dating.

Meanwhile, interest is also growing around Cha Jung Won’s future family relationships after the marriage.

Actor Kim Yong Gun divorced his ex-wife in 1996, and it was revealed in 2021 that he had a late-born son with Ms. A, who is 39 years his junior.

Ms. A was born in 1985, making her only four years older than Cha Jung Won. However, it is unclear whether Kim Yong Gun is legally married to Ms. A or if they maintain a de facto partnership.
