Group aespa’s Winter personally clarified allegations that the recently adopted pet dog came from a pet shop.

On the 23rd, Winter held a live voice broadcast on a fan communication platform.

When asked where the recently adopted dog came from, Winter said, “Bbonyo (the dog’s name) came from a shelter.”

She explained, “I heard the puppy was at an auction house, but no one took it, so it was going to be sent to a breeding farm, but the shelter took it in. That’s why I adopted it.”

Earlier, on the 18th, Winter announced the adoption by posting photos of the dog on her account.

Afterward, some raised suspicions that the dog was adopted from a pet shop because it looked like a purebred. Now, Winter addressed those suspicions directly.
