Beloved Actress Blames Herself While Raising 2-Month-Old Son

A beloved Korean actress expressed concern about her 2-month-old son and shared her feelings of responsibility and guilt as a mother.

On September 4th, a video titled “A sleepless dawn for moms… 2-month-old infant parenting diary” was posted on YouTube by Nam Bo Ra.

In the video, Nam Bo Ra visits a hospital for her 2-month-old son’s second round of vaccinations. She said, “Today is the day Kongal (his nickname) gets his shots. He had his first vaccination after birth, and today is the second round. He’s getting quite a few shots, and I’m nervous about getting vaccinated myself, so I wonder how much it will hurt him,” expressing worry about her son receiving multiple injections.

After arriving at the hospital, she paused filming and proceeded with the shots. She proudly said, “He handled it better than I expected. He cried for a moment and then stopped. He came through healthy,” showing relief and pride in her son.

When she checked his weight, Nam Bo Ra showed concern because he weighed less than she expected. Kongal was in the 40th percentile for growth. She said, “He’s smaller than I thought, so I wondered if I wasn’t feeding him enough. I thought he would surely be over 6 kilograms. I need to feed him more actively.”

She also candidly shared the sense of responsibility and true feelings she experiences as a mother raising a child. Nam Bo Raa said, “Whenever something happens to the baby, I feel like it’s my fault, because I couldn’t take care of him or because of something I did wrong.”

On the way home, Kongal suddenly burst into tears as the injection pain seemed to set in. Nam Bo Ra comforted him, saying, “Is the pain coming now? It’s okay. It’s all done. Let’s rest today.”

Seeing her son continue to cry, she tenderly said, “Did it hurt? But that wasn’t to make you hurt, Kongal, it’s to keep you healthy. Just hang in there a little bit longer. You did well,” repeatedly soothing her son and warmly holding him after he bravely endured the shots.

Nam Bo Ra married a non-celebrity businessman in 2025 and gave birth to a son in June of this year.
