A Thai actress, singer, and Miss Grand Thailand 2022 winner has become a hot topic recently, thanks to rumors about her alleged relationship with a sports star.

The dating rumors began after netizens began highlighting interactions between Engfa Waraha and Thai badminton player “Popor” Sapsiree Taerattanachai across social media. While some of the content in question was reportedly deleted afterward, the speculation only intensified, with many fans wondering whether the pair’s connection had developed into something more than a friendship.

Miss Grand International president, Nawat Itsaragrisil gave his opinion during a livestream. He stressed that fans should not blur the line between real-life relationships and the fictional pairings, and that if Engfa truly has feelings for someone, her choice deserves respect.

He also spoke positively about Popor, describing him as good and honorable. Should Engfa and Popor decide to publicly acknowledge a relationship in the future, he would be supportive of their relationship.

The rumors have reportedly received a high level of attention partly because of Engfa’s popular screen partnership with Charlotte Austin. Together known as “EngLot,” this onscreen couple starred in the 2023 GL (Girls’ Love) series Show Me Love, which was based on the real-life story of Miss Grand Thailand 2022 and the success of “Englot”.
