Boy Group Idol Reveals A Missing Persons Report Was Filed For Fellow Member

A boy group idol shared behind-the-scenes stories about the group’s various issues, including when they had to file a missing persons report for one of the members.

On September 21st, a video was posted on the YouTube channel Channel Bandal, bringing together idol leaders representing different generations in the music industry: Sechs Kies‘ Eun Jiwon, EXO‘s Suho, SEVENTEEN‘s S.Coups, and BOYNEXTDOOR‘s Myung Jaehyun.

The topic of conversation that day was the “communication problem” within groups. When SEVENTEEN’s S.Coups revealed, “Joshua once didn’t check a personal message I sent a month ago,” Eun Jiwon empathized and brought up a story about Sechs Kies member Kim Jaeduck.

Eun Jiwon said, “We also had a member like that, so we filed a missing persons report,” adding, “We thought he might have died alone. We contacted the police because he was unreachable.”

He went on to explain the absurd situation where Kim Jaeduck had quietly moved without telling anyone, saying, “He wasn’t even in Seoul. He had cleared out his Seoul home and moved down to Busan.”

Eun Jiwon expressed frustration, saying, “It’s more annoying when someone ignores previous messages and only contacts you when they have something to say rather than just not reading your messages.“
