BTS Hit With A Live Singing Controversy After First “ARIRANG” Concert

BTS just wrapped up their first concert of the ARIRANG World Tour on April 9, at the Goyang Stadium near Seoul, sparking quite the buzz.

While fans couldn’t be happier to have the septet back on stage after such a long wait, their first concert wasn’t completely devoid of hiccups. From the setlist to the lack of choreography, the internet saw some serious complaints from concert-goers.

The Biggest “Problem” With BTS’s “ARIRANG” Concert Triggers Heated Debate

Another criticism that the group faced was related to live singing. Many netizens have accused BTS of using live AR instead of fully singing live for the concert. A clip that has now gone viral on X (formerly Twitter), specifically caught Jin in an awkward moment where he had his mic turned toward the audience while his vocals were still playing in the background. Even though he was able to quickly turn the mic toward himself, the part he supposedly sang into the mic sounded just the same, raising suspicions that he was not singing live at all.

The clip, which has now garnered nearly 2 million views, has drawn biting criticism for the BTS member and BTS in extension.
