ENHYPEN’s Jungwon “Shades” Former Member EVAN (Heeseung) In New Post

ENHYPEN leader Jungwon has sparked debate among fans after a recent comment on Weverse was interpreted by some as a possible reference to former member EVAN (Heeseung).

The debate began after BELIFT LAB announced that Sunoo would be unable to participate in ENHYPEN’s Mexico concert due to sudden health issues. Following the concert, ENHYPEN’s official account shared the group’s usual post-concert photo, which featured the remaining members without Sunoo.

Jungwon commented on the post, writing:

While Jungwon appeared to refer to Sunoo’s absence, some fans linked the wording to EVAN’s departure from ENHYPEN earlier this year.

In March, BELIFT LAB announced that Heeseung would leave ENHYPEN and begin solo activities under the name EVAN. The agency stated that the decision came after discussions about his future direction and that the group would continue as six members.

The departure became a major topic among fans, with many debating the circumstances surrounding his exit and the group’s future.

After Jungwon’s comment, some fans accused him of making a remark that could fuel more conflict, while others defended him and said the comment was clearly about Sunoo’s absence.

At this point, it’s hard not to feel like he’s exploiting the situation for their own advantage instead of trying to de-escalate it. A person in that role should know the weight of their words. He seems completely unfit for it. Like bro, just stfu!
