ENHYPEN’s New TikTok Blasted As Insensitive And Disturbing

ENHYPEN’s recent TikTok has sparked major backlash.

Recently, ENHYPEN posted a TikTok with Jungwon and Jay, following a trend of putting something in the drink and then swapping drinks, with Jay passing out due to the swap.

Yet, many netizens hit back at the nature of the concept of the TikTok. They linked it to what happened at a college in the US but also spiking which is something very dangerous and specifically impacts woman.

Do you seriously think it’s appropriate to make a video about spiking someone’s drink, especially after the recent Cornell incident…………………

This is such a male humour thing, nothing about spiking someone’s drink is funny🤢

There’s always something going on with this stupid ass group

— luckyzz🥞🍵 (@Noticerztbs) October 30, 2026

As a woman, I find this genuinely disturbing. Drugging someone’s drink isn’t comedy, and neither is making a joke out of the victim’s unconsciousness.

Some defended the group by saying it was just a trend, but many fans still found it tasteless.

Y’all in the qts twisting this tt trend completely out of context without even knowing what it’s actually about need to STFU. It’s literally a revenge joke about poisoning your best friend. You’re not woke, you’re just desperate to find another excuse to cancel enhypen pic.twitter.com/zux7p0R07V
