Female K-Pop Idol Divulges Secret To Her “Waterbomb” Figure

A female K-Pop idol has revealed the secret to her body management in preparation for her appearance at Waterbomb.

On August 24th, Nam Yujeong (also known as Nam You Joung) appeared on KBS Cool FM’s Park Myung Soo’s Radio Show and had a conversation with Park Myung Soo.

On the radio show, Nam Yujeong shared the secret to maintaining her figure ahead of her Waterbomb appearance.

Waterbomb draws attention every year with artists’ bold costumes and performances. Nam Yujeong also put great effort into managing her body for the event.

When Park Myung Soo asked, “You must have prepared a lot for going on stage. How did you prepare?” Nam Yujeong responded, “That’s right,” and began to talk about her dieting method.

Nam Yujeong said, “Honestly, I strictly followed my diet. But there was an article about my diet saying I only ate ‘three pieces of tomato.’ That was because I’m not good at cooking, and I had posted a picture on social media of grilled tomatoes. But that is absolutely not my diet.”

She added, “You can’t live like that. I lost weight through consistent exercise and a healthy diet.”

Park Myung Soo empathized, saying, “Eating like that would make you dizzy and unable to perform,” and Nam Yujeong replied, “My blood sugar would drop.”

Nam Yujeong debuted with Brave Girls (later known as BBGIRLS) in 2016 and left the group in 2024. She has since continued acting and pursuing solo activities. On the 22nd, she performed on stage at Waterbomb Sokcho 2026 held in Sokcho, Gangwon Province, meeting fans.
