Mydaily reported that Sooyoung and Jung Kyung Ho recently decided to part ways due to their busy schedules. Many fans have expressed doubts about this being the true cause of the breakup, given how long the two were dating.

Jung Kyung Ho, who is constantly busy with his works, and Sooyoung, who is travelling back and forth between Korea and Japan, have been busy, so they haven’t been able to see each other much and in the end, concluded their relationship.

The Warning Signs

Although many assumed the couple would get married, some netizens noticed warning signs before the official announcement, such as the two unfollowing each other on Instagram.

About seven hours before the news broke, and allegedly right before he unfollowed Sooyoung and her mom, Jung Kyung Ho shared a photo of their pet dog, Hoyoung. The dog’s name combines “Ho” from Kyung Ho and the “Young” from Sooyoung.

Some netizens have speculated that the couple actually broke up because of Jung, speculating that he refused to marry Sooyoung.

During a press event for K-Drama Pro Bono, Jung Kyung Ho was asked to make a “headline-worthy” comment in line with his character. This playful exchange happened:

On tvN’s You Quiz on the Block, Hyoyeon appeared alongside Sooyoung and Yuri, where they talked about Tiffany becoming the first member of the group to get married. During the conversation, Hyoyeon joked about marriage and said, “We’re not young anymore… I think I’ll be next. I’ll say it’s me.”

Looking back at the clip, some netizens are speculating that Hyoyeon may have been aware that wedding bells weren’t going to ring for Sooyoung and Jung.
