Recently, IU held a stage greeting in Seoul to commemorate the re-release of her concert movies, IU Concert: The Golden Hour and IU Concert: The Winning. She also directly interacted with the fans present at the theater.

During this candid Q&A session, one fan asked IU what she was going to eat for dinner. She casually responded that she would have boiled eggs. The fans immediately groaned in response, prompting IU to offer a detailed explanation.

She told the audience members that eating two boiled eggs drizzled with olive oil made her feel full the entire day. She even encouraged fans to try it for themselves, stating that they wouldn’t feel hungry all day if they had it for breakfast. She also noted that the fat of the olive oil was the key.

This new extreme diet tip from IU has drawn significant attention, just like her previous diet. In 2021, IU talked about a diet consisting of an apple for breakfast, two sweet potatoes or bananas for lunch, and a protein supplement for dinner.

IU did acknowledge that she had followed that extreme regimen for brief periods in her early twenties, but distanced herself from it, stating that she wouldn’t be able to sing if she kept following it consistently.
