A K-Drama actor spoke about his real-life relationship with a fellow actress, someone he formed a love line on a variety show.
Recently, an interview was conducted with Kang Hoon at a café in Seoul, to celebrate the conclusion of tvN’s My Bias, My Boss.
While discussing the project, Kang Hoon also mentioned his relationship with Ji Ye Eun, with whom he worked on SBS‘s Running Man. The two had a playful, bickering dynamic on the show, creating a love line that brought laughter to viewers.
Ji Ye Eun is set to marry dancer Vata this December. When asked if he had congratulated Ji Ye Eun personally, Kang Hoon said he had not. “We are not in regular contact. I have her number but I haven’t called,” he said, smiling. “I’m sure many people around her have congratulated her, and I sincerely wish her the best as well.”
He also admitted that their relationship feels a bit awkward after being paired as a love line on the show. Kang Hoon candidly said, “It was purely a business relationship we got to know through the variety show.” He added, “Because we were linked by a love line, it actually made things a bit uncomfortable between us.“
