K-Pop Idols Make Best — And Worst — Dressed Lists With “2026 Met Gala” Fashion

On May 4, the 2026 Met Gala took place with a number of idols in attendance. As a result, several have been included on major media outlets’ best- and worst-dressed lists.

1. aespa’s Karina

aespa‘s Karina wore a gorgeous white gown with what appeared to be a black coat on top. The outfit was inspired by the Korean hanbok and had other traditional elements.

2. BLACKPINK’s Rosé

BLACKPINK‘s Rosé wore a black dress featuring a silver bird as the focal point and a thigh-high slit.

Several outlets specifically named her, with The Cut giving a mixed reaction but confirming that she followed the theme. Hollywood Reporter named her among the best, while Cosmopolitan included her on its worst-dressed list.

3. BLACKPINK’s Jennie

BLACKPINK‘s Jennie wore a blue dress adorned with over 15,000 sequins.

4. BLACKPINK’s Lisa

Lisa wore a custom Robert Wun gown featuring stone detailing along the sheer design. Up close, Lisa’s hair was styled differently from previous looks, with a piece running across her forehead.

Lisa’s look was considered amongst the most sources, with Cosmopolitan naming her amongst the best looks of the night. Newsweek had a more mixed opinion, saying that it looked “too robotic,” while WWD named her in their worst looks.

It is worth noting that both BLACKPINK’s Jisoo and aespa’s Ningning were discussed favorably
