Recently, boy group idntt introduced new members, bringing their revealed members to 20.
idntt has not officially debuted yet, but has introduced subunits, including the most recent, itsnot5ver, set to debut on July 13. The subgroup currently consists of five members, and appears to be one of the last.

However, ahead of their debut, one member has gone viral for something unexpected.
Cho Eunchan was already known to some for his appearance on the survival show Debut Plan, where he did not advance past the survival round.
Following his introduction of the group’s X account, a screenshot from Eunchan’s old social media profile began circulating online. The screenshot appeared to be from a longer video, and included the caption, “The story about a Hong Kong man who sent me expensive gifts and naked pics to get me to date him, part 2.”
A netizen then shared part of the actual video, in which Eunchan talked about his experience. As it was the second part, some context is missing, but Eunchan explains that he had to set a boundary with the man, saying, “If you keep acting like this, I can’t keep chatting with you.” The man apparently apologized and asked to date him for once, or to at least keep talking, even offering $100 a month to be in a relationship or just exchange “videos” having fun.
Eunchan says that he turned him down and threatened to block the man, and the man threatened to drown himself. Eunchan felt bad and tried convincing him there were better guys out there, but the gay man just blocked him and canceled all of the gifts he previously sent.

As this has resurfaced, netizens have reacted with humor, finding his depiction (and the situation in general) funny. There is no mention of Eunchan’s own sexuality in this, it is important to note.
