KATSEYE’s Daniela Gets Grilled Over Her “Internalized Misogyny”

KATSEYE member Daniela has landed herself in hot water after the group’s latest interview with Vanity Fair.

KATSEYE recently appeared In Vanity Fair’s popular Hot Seat interview, where with each question, one member was randomly chosen to answer it. One of the questions was “How do you deal with a Gabriela?”— a reference to the group’s hit song “Gabriela,” where they sing about a woman who is supposedly trying to snatch their “fella” away.

Lara, who was picked to answer the question, gave a classy response, saying that she wouldn’t approach the woman but would turn to her partner and ask them not to entertain such individuals. She explained that her partner being desired by others didn’t bother her, but “The Gabriela is only gonna keep pestering if my partner is inviting it and entertaining it.”

Daniela had a different perspective on this situation. The singer suggested giving the other woman “a little talk,” and Lara immediately refused, stating, “I would never.” Daniela, however, doubled down, enacting an imaginary scenario, saying, “I’d go up to her and be like, ‘B*tch. Stop talking to my f*cking man.’”

Lara, who was evidently turned off by the idea, rejected it immediately, arguing that if push came to shove, she would rather get a restraining order than confront another woman in that manner.

This particular moment from the interview has gone massively viral on social media, garnering millions of views. While Lara’s answer has won her high praise from netizens, Daniela is being torn apart with scathing criticism for her response.
