Kim Jong Kook Apologizes To His Son

Kim Jong Kuk talked about how his life has changed after marriage and apologized to his son.

On July 24th, tvN‘s You Quiz on the Block released a video titled “‘Loving Marriage’ Newlywed Kim Jong Kook — Jae Suk’s message to Jong Kook’s future child?!”

In the video, Yoo Jae Suk began by saying, “Kim Jong Kook has been actively recommending marriage to those around him since he got married.”

Kim Jong Kook responded, “Marriage is wonderful. It feels like putting a full stop to an unsolvable puzzle in life,” expressing satisfaction with married life. “No matter where I go or what place I’m in, just having to think about one person feels very stable.”

However, he added, “I think once a child is born, reality will hit, and raising the child might be challenging.”

Yoo Jae Suk asked, “You’ve mentioned wanting a daughter, haven’t you?” Kim Jong Kook replied, “I think I’d be more cautious raising a daughter.” Then he said, “Maybe it’d be a bit easier raising a son.”

Yoo Jae Suk laughed and said, “Being born as Jong Kook’s son won’t be easy. It’s going to be tough. Whether it’s a son or a daughter, you’ll have to brace yourself.”

Kim Jong Kook also joked, “The child isn’t even born yet, but I’m already sorry. Family education is very important. As I see it, my son is dead. Sorry, I apologize,” making everyone laugh. Then he added, “It’s all for your own good, so don’t blame me,” leaving a humorous apology video message for his future child.

Kim Jong Kook held a private wedding ceremony last September in Seoul with a younger non-celebrity.
